Coffee Brewing Guide

French Press

The French press, also known as a press pot or plunger pot, is a simple and effective way to brew coffee. The process begins by boiling water and adding coarsely ground coffee to the vessel. Water is then poured over the grounds, allowing them to steep for about four minutes before pressing down the plunger to separate the grounds from the liquid.

Pour Over

This method involves pouring hot water over coffee grounds in a filter. The water seeps through the coffee, extracting flavors as it goes, resulting in a clean and bright cup. The key to great pour-over coffee is to control the water flow and maintain the right temperature throughout the brewing process.

Cold Brew

Cold brew coffee is made by steeping coarse coffee grounds in cold water for an extended period, typically 12 to 24 hours. The result is a smooth, less acidic coffee that can be enjoyed over ice or mixed with milk or cream. It’s a great way to prepare coffee in advance for busy mornings.

Espresso

Espresso is a concentrated form of coffee that is brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water through finely-ground coffee. The result is a rich and bold coffee that's the base for many popular drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. Mastering the art of espresso requires practice and precision to achieve the perfect shot.
